I'm not sure how long it was out though when I saw it. I could've went on the last showing...and yeah, Star Wars has a pretty big fan base.

But combare both. SW has a bigger fan club (Hyperspace). SW broke the world record but then POTC broke th SW record

And what a dissapointment that movie was. Dead Mans Chest dragged on way too long. I would have almost like to think that it ended with the first Pirates movie. Not even close to the first in my opinion.

I own the 2nd Pirates movie, but I have yet to take it out the wrapper. I'm just dissapointed a movie like that made it so big. I understand, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom not to mention that Knightly chick..and It's a Disney movie. I really enjoyed the first one. It seems like the 2nd one was too cheesy from what I hear. Almost silly

haaa, cool, i had no idea..well happy 30th star wars..

and to wildcat i finally saw Pirates 2 and i agree with you on everything..it dragged too much and it really sucked...i fell asleep on it actually..at the part when they visit that voodoo woman..
